Derek at DDTECH is hands down one of the best tuners I’ve worked with. I had other tuners try to dial in my twin turbo Corvette Z06 and fail, but Derek figured it out and got the car running right. What really stood out was how fast he worked. I would send him logs and feedback, and he would have revisions back to me within minutes. The man literally works like he’s available 24/7, and honestly, you won’t be able to keep up with him. My car is far from a simple setup, but Derek knew exactly what he was looking at and made the process smooth. He didn’t just tune the boosted areas and call it done. He cleaned up all the cruising and drivability issues too, the stuff other wannabe tuners try to tell you is “normal” on a modified car. It’s not normal. It just takes someone who actually knows what they’re doing. The car drives better, cruises smoother, pulls hard, and feels way more dialed in now. Dude is a tuning genius. If you have a boosted or heavily modified car, I highly recommend Derek and DDTECH. He’s the real deal.

Derek was very impressive in tuning my truck. Put new cam, springs, lifters, & pushrods in my 4.8L and drove it straight to Derek the next day. It ran horrible. When he got done with it, it was crazy how good it ran. He goes on multiple test drives with you and makes sure everything is operating like it should. It might have took 45 minutes. He is very good at what he does and knows his stuff.

Worked with me to get my vehicle tuned and running great and was even patient while I had to replace parts.

I can’t say enough good things about the street tuning work that was done on my car. From the moment the tuning was completed, the difference was obvious. The throttle response became much sharper, the power delivery felt smoother, and the car pulled harder throughout the RPM range. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands performance tuning and knows how to make a car run its best, I highly recommend them. Can’t express enough how pleased I am with the remote tuning DDTech did for me. Had a lot of hurdles on my project C10 fully built gen V swap(not tune related) which required pausing the tuning for an extended amount of time. Derek had no problem picking up right where he left off whenever that email hit his inbox. Truck drives amazingly well and sounds great. 100% recommend anyone that is needing a tune to head his way. I’ll be back shortly for my daily driver.

Derek’s awesome have a zl1 stage 2 btr cam kit bolts ons, upper and lower pulleys, 93 pump gas he’s very responsive and continues to fine tune and make the car as fast and safe as possible the cars perfect and absolute monster definitely recommend him and his work!

DD Tech is the way to go. I am on my 3rd remote tune and nothing but a positive experience. Two tunes with my 05 CTSV and now with my 2009. All it takes is a quick search and to look on Facebook to know Derek is the real deal. Especially in the V world. The tuning process is very user friendly and he makes sure your good to go. Starting working with Derek about a week or two ago and it’s been nothing but exceptional service. He’s very quick with responses and will recommend different things to try to make your car even better. I’m fairly new to the platform but he was able to get the car dialed without issue and within reasonable time. Hopefully a dyno session soon to further feel in🤞🏼

Always seen great reviews and feedback for Derek at DDTECH and knew that’s who I wanted to have as my tuner for my mild 07 Escalade build. Hit him up to ask some questions before I knew which route I wanted to go with it and he helped me pick a cam and got me setup with Tyler at Mont Motorsports to get all the parts I needed. Once I finally got everything installed he was super helpful at helping me setup HPtuners, get the logs and uploading the files to the truck as I never used hptuners before. Derek always had super fast responses and answered all my dumb questions quickly and professionally. Super happy with the outcome with this build and the tunes he provided. Derek is the man. He has been tuning my V2 for... 3 years now I think. When I first contacted him, dude was literally getting married the next day, still sent me a base map, and was tuning the car on his honeymoon as well. He answers fast, provides great help, and the tunes are phenomenal. Just finished up my 3rd tune with him after throwing a cam in the car and he turned it into an absolute monster!! Derek Has done an awesome job in turning my ZL1. My buddy used him for his c7 and did amazing job to his car and highly recommended me to use him too. I have owned a lot of cars in my life but Derek the owner has proven to me that American muscle still exists! I had him tune my c7 vette and recommend my friend in his zl1 to get tuned by him. Derek doesn’t disappoint when it comes to guiding me the way on how to use hp tuners. Very smooth process. Any issues I had he was one phone call/text away. I will be using him for all my ls needs. Communication is absolutely incredible. More importantly his tunes are amazing! Via remote tuning he was able to tell me that I had a couple of sensors that needed to be replaced, abs other things that needed attention. And once I replaced them it fixed the issue that I was having. I had broke down twice, once with my family. I sent him a log of it running (barely) and he immediately diagnosed the problem for me, He didn't have to do that. It was after hours, which made his integrity stand out. But he most definitely is a 4am friend for those lucky enough to be in his circle. His tunes are incredible, his customer service is incredible. He goes way above and beyond a tune. From even the basics, like setting up my HP Tuners correctly, to helping me diagnose an issue that left stranded

Did a awesome job tuning my 2015 chevy silverado Z71. Has a BTR stage 2 cam. I had it tune before but was not running at full potential. After I left it was running prefect.was on point and running like a champ. He was help on all my questions and concerns.

Derek is the most helpful and knowlegable person I've come across while on my journey with a modified Gen5 Camaro. He performed the tune for the builder we bought the car from and continued to help us troubleshoot multiple things after we purchased the car. Our transmisison began to fail which he helped troubleshoot, and then after we replaced it with a 6l90 that needed tuning as well. He is incredibly responsive, patient and generous with his time and knowledge. Don't waste your time trying to find another tuner, Derek is your guy.

Derek is by far one of the best tuners out there! He always makes an effort to explain & NOT sound condescending or rude. By my 3rd file in HPT I realized he was legit as nearly all my previous issues were gone. I've offered plenty of times to pay for additional changes and he respectfully declined. I've driven over 10k miles on his tuning and the truck continues to perform amazing! Here's a pic of my 16 Sierra Whipple, LT4 fuel, 10L80 swap. 2/1/26 Update. Changed my setup to built motor & 15psi.This came ONLY because shit E85 killed my injectors and I thought the engine was hurt(it wasn't). Derek once again delivered top notch service and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. The truck is an absolute sleeper animal! Spins all 4 tires off the line pedaling it!!

First, Derek got back to my emails super speedy. Got me in for a tune as soon as possible, and got it right. Any questions I asked, he answered, and took the time to explain things. My truck feels more enjoyable and smooth. Just plain SMOOTH. the shifts are quick with no jerks, the throttle response is instant, the truck is way happier and so am I. I had my truck remotely tuned but Derek. The problem with tuners today its hard to find good trustworthy ones. He's the 3rd tuner ive had because the other 2 just never got the truck right and seemed like they didnt want to take the time to fix it. They were to worried about other things. Derek nailed the tune and restored some faith haha. We went back and forth for hours with data logs and tune files until the truck was perfect. He is a must use tune for sure and I will be telling everyone I know to use him.
